¶ TS Controllers Interface - Software updates and new features information
This page provides information on major new versions. This doesn’t include minor or bug fixes versions. Information on those can be found in the release notes after you install the app.
¶ Version 4.1
New
PBC Pro HID / Joystick compatibility. The PBC Pro now shows up as a Game controller in Windows. This enables you to use it in apps such as SubwaySim 2. New version 8 firmware required. Read all about it on the PBC Pro page
You will need to recalibrate the PBC Pro in the Calibrate dialogue as before, but now tick the Calibrate HID tickbox.
New
PBC Pro - Lever now has finer steps. Previously it only worked with 100 steps, now its upto 1000, so gives finer control when moving the throttle/brake. This enhances the control when using Notch Mode 2, 3, or 4. New Firmware version 8 required to get the most benefit from this

PBC Pro - When entering a scenario, the software tells you which Notch stopper should be used. This is displayed in both the Main tab, and the 'Toast' Notification that pops up. (TSW Only) Work in Progress.

Door Panel - Door Panel lights now turn off if you are not in a train cab in TSW. (Was already a feature for TS Classic)

¶ Version 4.0
TS Controllers presents a huge software update available for all controllers old and new. Many of the features have been implemented in response to feedback. So please keep the feedback coming to help improve the future of the software.
¶ Whats new?
- New- Flexible lever configuration feature - All levers can now be independently configured, for example if you have a PBC Pro, and Flexi-levers (single or dual), you can set each lever to your desired function.
The Flexi-levers are now called Primary and Secondary, rather than throttle and brake side. Primary being the USB connected unit.
As always with TS Controllers, the functions are automatically set up, so no configuration is needed, it auto detects all the settings:
- Throttle /PBC
- Train Brake
- Loco Brake (TSW only currently)
- Dynamic /Electric Brake (TSW only currently)
- AFB
- Gear Changer (TSW BR class 101/108)
The above modes are also available to use on the PBC Pro, when it is set to notch mode 4.
There is a new Levers tab in the software. This shows any flexi-levers or PBC's connected. This is where they are able to be configured.
- New Train Sim World 7 support - All controllers now support Train Sim wold 7 along with all its new Addons.
- New PBC Pro - Added a modifier key function to the PBC custom assignable button, for example, Ctrl, Shift, Alt.
- New PBC Pro - PBC Pro button now has a new setting, Continuos press or Single Press. Single press would be useful for switch functions like a light switch, where as continuous press would be used for a bell/buzzer/sander
- New- Flexi-lever - Train Sim World UK Class 101 brake support.
- New- All controllers - Train Sim World UK Class 108 support
- Improved - European DLC support. Fully support much more German and European TSW DLC. Full support coming shortly.
- Improved Door Panel - Added extra characters that you can assign to custom door panel keys, such as ] and [
- Improved All controllers - Added Alt key as keyboard modifier when assigning keys to the Door Panel or PBC Pro button.
- Improved PBC Pro - TSW Class 385 PBC lever Improvements (Mode 2).
- Improved PBC Pro - TS Classic UK Class 175 and 385 now work in mode 2 as per real life.
- Improved App- Moved down Simulator selection drop down list, in the main tab, to make room for more controllers.
- Improved PBC Pro - The controller Calibration checks if you are in switch Mode 3 first.
- Improved PBC Pro - TS Classic Class 175 now works in notch Mode 2.

- Fixed PBC Pro - Fixed error 14 when calibrating.
- Fixed Door Panel - TSW Class 165 buzzer/signal bell fix
- Fixed Flexi-lever - Calibration wasn’t saving in Throttle only/Single lever mode.
- Fixed PBC/PBC Pro - TS Classic - ATS Class 166 reverser fix
- Fixed All controllers - Comma decimal point localisation issues. (for European users)
- Fixed All controllers - TSW Class 66 compatibility fixes.
- Fixed PBC - TSW class 20 reverser was the wrong way round at the rear cab.
- Fixed Flexi-brake V2 - TSW British Railways Class 101/108 brake now works in Smooth mode.
- Fixed Flexi-lever - TSW British Railways Class 101/108 brake wasnt working.
- Fixed Flexi-lever - Holding the Release section of Westinghouse brake loco's would cause issues, perhaps even losing connection with TSW.
